History
　Rachel James Bernard's birth brought much grief upon her parents after being notified that their baby was in fact a girl, a not a boy. Having already a list of male names in hand, coming up with a female name for the baby was a headache they did not expect. And that was when the little baby who was supposed to be called "Ryan" became "Rachel." After being taken home, Rachel's parents then began the arduous task of raising a girl when a boy was wanted.

　Rachel's parents divorced when she was only five, her father disappearing off the map until she was twelve. During that period of time, her mother never made an effort trying to disguise the fact that she had always wanted a boy and not a girl. So two years later, Ryan Nelson Edwards was born. And Rachel was put on a shelve. 

　The relationship between her mother and herself got even worse once Rachel's started maturing and starting looking in her father for financial support. Verbal fights occurred often in the household, resulting in Rachel being kicked out of the house by her own mother way too often, coming back a day later after spending the night at her father’s place.

　By the time Rachel reached the age of 16, her mother came down to her senses and regreted everything she has done to Rachel. And willingly, Rachel accepted her apologies.
